Hot tub removals

We drain it, shut off the power, cut or unbolt the shell if it won't fit through the gate, pull the pumps and heater, and haul all of it. We can take the pad or plywood under it too. Spas and Jacuzzis work the same way. We do this all over Broward and south Palm Beach, from Fort Lauderdale up to Boca Raton.

What we'll take

  • Portable hot tubs and spas
  • Jacuzzis
  • Swim spas and endless pools
  • Inflatable and soft-sided tubs
  • Hot tub covers and steps
  • Plywood and pavers under the tub
  • Old pumps and heaters
  • Gazebos over the tub (ask us)

What we can't take

  • Electrical panel work or removing circuits (a licensed electrician does that)
  • In-ground concrete spas (ask us about these)

Factors that determine price

Size and access

Every hot tub is a different size. Smaller tubs cost less to remove and bigger ones cost more. A clear path and a wide gate also help, since the tub can go out whole.

Cutting it down

Tubs inside a pool enclosure or behind a 3-foot gate get cut into sections.

Raised decks and balconies

If it's on a second floor or a raised deck, we lower it down slowly and carefully.

Hot tub removal questions people ask

How much does hot tub removal cost?

Most hot tubs run $250 to $500 to remove, depending on the size. Smaller tubs land at the low end and bigger tubs cost more. A tough path out may alter the price. Hot tubs are priced separately from regular loads, so text us a photo of the tub and the path to the street for a ballpark. You get the exact price in writing before we start.

Do I have to drain the hot tub first?

No. We bring a pump. You can drain it ahead of time if you want, but it doesn't cost extra if you don't.

Do you disconnect the electrical?

Yes. We switch off the 240-volt disconnect and unhook the whip. Anything inside the panel, or pulling old circuits and conduit, is licensed electrical work, so we leave that to an electrician.

Can you take other junk on the same trip?

Yes. If the patio furniture, old grill or anything else needs to go too, point at it and we'll quote it all together.

Do you take the hot tub out whole or cut it up?

It depends on your yard. A normal six-person tub is 7 to 8 feet across, and a side gate is about 3 feet. If it fits, it goes out whole. If not, we cut it into sections right there and sweep up the mess from cutting when we're done.
