In South Florida, hot tub removal cost comes down to two things: how big the tub is and how hard it is to get from your back yard to our trailer. Most hot tubs run $250 to $500 to remove, depending on the size. Smaller tubs land at the low end and bigger tubs cost more. Two tubs the same size can still cost different amounts if one is a lot harder to get out.
The side gate problem
A standard six-person tub is 7 to 8 feet across. Most side gates are about 3 feet wide. You can see the issue. If the tub can tip on its side and roll out through a wide gate or a removed fence panel, it goes out whole. That's the cheapest way. If not, we cut it into sections right there and sweep up the mess when we're done.
Screen enclosures
A lot of tubs sit inside a screened pool enclosure. We don't cut your screen. The tub comes apart inside the enclosure and goes out the door in pieces.
Raised decks and balconies
A tub on a raised deck or a second-floor balcony has to come down slowly and under control. That's a team lift with extra hands, and that may alter the price.

- Switching off the disconnect and detaching the whip
- Cutting or unbolting the shell if needed
- Pulling the pumps and heater
- Hauling all of it, cover and steps included
Work inside your electrical panel, or taking out old circuits, is licensed electrical work. An electrician handles that part, not us.
